How do I host a domain registered with GoDaddy on my iPage hosting plan?
Question:
I already have a domain hosted on my ipage account (that came free with the account), but I just bought another domain today with GoDaddy (because it was cheaper than what ipage was offering). ipage says you can host an unlimited number of domains with my plan, but this domain is registered by GoDaddy. Is there a free way to get my new domain hosted by my iPage plan? Or do I need to create another domain name with ipage in order to use it with my ipage hosting?
Answer:
You don’t need another iPage account.
- Login to your GoDaddy control panel and go to Domain Management.
- Click on your domain name and change the nameservers to
- ns1.ipage.com
- ns2.ipage.com
- Then login to your iPage control panel and go to Domain Central.

- Enter the domain name you wish to add to your iPage hosting account
- Select Add Existing Domain
- Click Add
That’s it. Then you just have to wait for the nameserver change to take effect and propagate.
