Question:
I just bought a domain today from go daddy. I also used commercial web hosting from aplus.net..
When i published my website on Dreamweaver CS5, i could not pull up my webpage. I pulled up the godaddy page that had my domain on the top of it. “powerrune.com”.. Whenever i type in the address from my web host “2skm8gcpl.myutilitydomain.com” it pulls up my page. I didn’t pay to use their domain.. i want mine. I need to know how to set powerrune.com to my primary host i guess.. Technical support was no help what-so-ever.

Answer:

Your domain name is at godaddy and your hosting is at aplus.  You need to join the two by changing your Nameservers on your godaddy account to point to the aplus servers.  Log into your Godaddy control panel, click on Domains, Domain Management, click on your domain name, then click on the Set Nameservers link.  Put the aplus servers in there.  They are

ns1.aplus.net
ns2.aplus.net
ns3.aplus.net

BTW, you paid too much for the tiny set of features  you got at aplus.  Click here to get better web hosting deals.

You also paid too much for a domain name at godaddy.  Next time use NameCheap.
